The deal between you and BuildItPlayIt, in plain words.

Who can use this

You must be 13 or older. If you are under 13 you may not create an account, and we will delete one if we find it.

Your account

One account per person. Don't pretend to be someone else, don't pretend to be staff, and don't share your sign-in link - anyone holding it can get into your account.

What you make

Your games are yours. You keep ownership of what you create here. By publishing a game you allow us to host it, show it on the site, and let other people play it. You can unpublish at any time.

You are responsible for what you upload. Don't upload artwork, characters, music or models that belong to somebody else. If a rights holder asks us to remove something, we will.

How you behave

The rules are part of these terms. Content that is bullying, sexual, threatening, illegal, or that exposes someone's private information is not allowed, and everything is checked before it is stored.

Repeated breaches pause your ability to comment, then your account. Serious ones - anything sexual involving minors, credible threats, or attempts to contact a child privately - end the account immediately and may be reported to the authorities.

What we don't promise

This is a small independent project, provided as-is. Games are generated automatically and may be broken, dull, or not what you pictured. We don't guarantee the site stays available, and we can't promise your work is backed up - if a game matters to you, keep a copy of the code.

Free accounts get one published game and a daily allowance of generated art. Those limits can change.

Ending it

You can delete your account whenever you like, and everything of yours goes with it. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so on the site rather than quietly editing this page.
