BuildItPlayIt turns a sentence into a game you can actually play.
You describe what you want - "a ninja cat that jumps between clouds and the clouds disappear
after you land" - and a few minutes later it exists, in 3D, in your browser. You can keep
changing it by asking. When you're happy, publish it and anyone can play it at
builditplayit.com/yourname/yourgame.
There is no code to learn, no engine to install, and nothing to download. If you can describe a game, you can make one.
Makers aged 13 and up. That age limit is deliberate: this is a place where you publish under a name, other people play what you made, and they can comment on it. That takes a certain amount of resilience, and it takes rules everybody understands.
Every single thing anyone writes here is checked before it is stored - usernames, game titles, descriptions, comments, and uploaded pictures. Not after it appears. Before. A comment that sets out to hurt someone never reaches the person it was aimed at.
That's the whole point of the place. A 13-year-old showing something they made should not have to be brave about it. The rules are here.
BuildItPlayIt is built and run by Elad Itzkin in Berlin. It is a small, independent project - not a company with a support desk. If something is broken, unfair, or upsetting, write to info@builditplayit.com and a person will read it.
